Zustand: Goog-VG for age. 1st English ed. viii+ tipped in errata slip+410+(2, 3 book notices, 2 by Hoffding); browning/foxing to endpapers and pastedowns, some fairly heavy; extensive pencil marking inc.marginal comments throughout, occ. heavy, and a few ll. to back endpaper, erasable in principle but some comments quite pertinent. Red cloth overs clean with minimum wear - slight corner bumping, spine just a hint faded and end-rubbed. Working/reference copy only. Includes long chapter on 'Psychological Philosophy of Religion'.

Zustand: Good+. 1st Dover rep., 1st-1900. xviii+532; ix+600; Constable imprint label pasted below Dover's on t.p.s, internally clean, tight and unmarked; covers minimally worn if at all but spines a little darkened and browned alongside back joints, appears to have faint surface marks or dustiness though hard to pin down. Despite slight dullness of covers a quite acceptable copy of the typically robust Dover edition.
