Balmaghie is an ecclesiastical and civil parish in the historical county of Kirkcudbrightshire in Dumfries and Galloway, and is bordered by the River Dee to the north and east. This book is not a parish history, but merely embodies a few scattered notices of Balmaghie Church since 1615. Of the first Church only a small part remained when the second was built in 1794, and this reprint was issued to mark the bi-centenary in 1994. The book is bound in the original green boards with gold titling on the spine and front board. The book is in very good condition with some shelf wear to the boards and bumping to the top of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription.…
