The clipping on Robley is a letter to the editor reminiscing about meeting General Robley in 1923, "Before our departure from London for New Zealand, he got busy, and in quick time sketched on two postcards which he presented to us as a parting gift and souvenir. One card has a tiki thereon whilst the other contains a representation of a Maori pa, tiki mere, and two other designs [ . . .]" - from the newspaper clipping, "A Memory of General Robley". Two newspaper clippings from 1953 on greenstone or pounamu loosely included. Clippings inside folded piece of white paper to prevent foxing to adjacent endpapers.
