Die Abbildungen sind außerordentlich detailreich und farbintensiv. Die kunstvollen Vorsätze in blau und weiß sind holländischen Fliesenornamenten nachempfunden. Der Einband ist deutlich bestoßen. Der Buchrücken wurde verstärkt. Es findet sich eine fingernagelgroße, umkreiste Farbläsion auf dem vorderen Buchdeckel (siehe Foto). Einige Lagen des Buchblockes sind gelockert.
