There is some foxing to the preliminary pages and the edges of the text block, and a bookplate; overall, the book is in good to very good condition. the dustwrapper is just about in good condition (torn with loss to the head of the spine panel, a little rubbed and spotted). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it. Inman 536.

Condition is GOOD ; minor edge wear, front cover has reddish staining and drip marks. Otherwise clean with a tight binding and the text very good. PO's bookplate on front pastedown, sides of text block mildly foxed. DJ is GOOD ; probably price-clipped, edges worn and chipped. spine tail has small open tear, rear top has two. Overall toned and spotted, with spine quiite toned. In new Mylar wrapper. Scarce. US Hist. RGR.
