Published in Oldbury, Birmingham in 1894, this is the First Edition of this very scarce publication, containing all the information regarding the licensing laws for running a pub, bound in the original cloth, this copy was originally owned by a George Smith, who was a Police Constable from Kidderminster in Worcestershire, which is only about 15 miles from where the book was originally printed. George has used the book as part of his police work, and has made some relevant notes in pen to a number of the pages (pictured) the book is just over 7.5 inches tall, 123 pages plus local adverts at rear. The covers have some staining, and lightened patchy marking along spine else in solid condition, internally the mentioned notes, and written inscriptions, endpapers browned, a few creased page corners else in good general condition. …
