No dust jacket. "The present manual is an attempt to outline for teachers the lines on which the decoration of m any of the articles now made in the handwork lesson may be carried out. Geometry.is used as the starting point. The first volume [of the two] included the decoration of handwork by means of the following processes--(1) Geometrical work and interlacing patterns. (2) Brushwork Design. (3) Stencilling. (4) Needlework. (5) Lettering with pen and brush. The more technical processes suitable for older children, such as--(6) Woodstaining. (7) Pyrography.
