Published in Shrewsbury in 1866 this is the second edition of this handbook to the Shropshire town, bound in blue cloth titled in gilt to the spine, a small pocket format measuring 6.5 inches by 4 inches approx., 171 pages, illustrated with woodcuts and a folding map, some mild lightening to cloth at edges, not as noticeable to the naked eye as it appears under the camera flash, internally the folding map has a split along one of the fold lines, with brown staining to reverse from a now removed old tape repair, old ownership name to title page, title page a little browned and marked, some light creasing wear within else in good general condition.
