Evans; part of Spon's Civil engineering Series; 547 p., immaculate and unmarked, except for discreetly printed name of former owner at top edge of front end page; fine quality paper only mildly age-toned, but with foxing on paste downs and end pages; diagrams, drawings, equations, photos; binding firm; unfaded blue boards with silver gilt lettering are pristine, thanks to protection of tan d.j. with red and black lettering. The d.j itself has suffered some injuries during its efficient service and has small closed tear at lower front edge and a little chipping at upper edges of spine panel.
