Also gilt edging to all papers. This wonderful book is in nice, clean and good condition. Normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Slight wear and bumping to corners of front board. Author Lemuel Gulliver was first a Surgeon, and then a Captain of several ships. Preface/Introduction by Henry Craik, with one hundred illustrations by Charles E. Brock. Two pages dedicated to the reader from the publisher; (RICHARD SYMPSON) name printed on final of the two pages. Printed by R. & R. Edinburgh. 381 pages plus publishers self promotional page. All pages intact and good tight binding, all pages, maps, text and lovely illustrations are in good, clean, readable order.
