Hard covers, dust jacket. Zustand: V.g. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: V.g. 1st edition. Published to coincide with the first South-west Asian Flora symposium at Edinburgh, this concise list of collectors gives geographical coverage, date range, and (where appropriate) name of collection or source herbarium. Though based only on a sampling, this achieves near-comprehensive coverage and is a useful source of incidental biographical information on who collected when and where. Considering the antiquity of the Botanic Garden it is somewhat surprising that the earliest collections date in the main from the 1830s (though Edinburgh does possess a few historical oddities such as the Giseke Herbarium which curiously isn't mentioned.
