Based on Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's 1939 play "Ladies and Gentleman," about two jurors who fall in love during a high-profile murder case. A reunion film for Ginger Rogers and Dennis Morgan, who had previously co-starred in the successful 1940 film "Kitty Foyle."
