Quarter Leather. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. Not Credited (illustrator). 1st. In two volumes this 1883 1st edition is easier to handle than the usual single volume. Combed marble over black quarter leather binding with gilt and red title blocks to spine. A little loss of colour and slight wear to edges but mostly vg. 1340 pages with b/w illustrations all unmarked and clean. Bindings vg with no loose pages Books feel tight. A modicom of foxing to first and last few pages but mostly fresh looking. Extra postage overseas.

The book is in overall good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Small brown marks to edge of side papers and inside front and back pages, otherwise all other pages, text and illustrations are in good, clean readable order. 1340 pages, plus a selected list of publishers other publications. Good tight binding. Please note as this is a heavy book, postage may increase from listed price depending on final destination. Inside front board is name tag and on first blank page is pen and ink signature dated 1896. An informative book that deserves to be preserved for future generations.
