In den WarenkorbFirst edition, first printing. Recent craft binding of full navy morocco, with gilt titles and borders on a green morocco emblem inlaid to the upper board, and a down of hares illustration inlaid in light brown morroco to the lower board. Housed in the felt-lined blue buckram traycase, with gilt titles on a green label to the black morocco leather backstrip of the tray component. Illustrated with 60 black and white maps (including one in fold-out format), photographic plates and small illustrations, six colour plates, and various tables and graphs throughout. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, with a little bowing to the board ends, and some light marks to the lower board. The contents, with a little waving to the front free endpaper and prelims and various tiny marks to pages 56 and 57, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed, structurally sound traycase, that has a little gum residue to the bottom edge. A collection of eight essays on the history, excavation, and folklore of the Welsh parish and church of Pennant Melangell.
