The first of Hazell's Type Specimen Books was published in 1874 as 'A Few Specimens of Book Printing', followed by 'Specimens of Book and Fancy Types' (1880), 'Types' (1909), 'Type Faces' (1925) and 'Hazell's Book of Type Faces' in three editions (1931, 1937 and 1940).
