The article consists of a report made to the Right Honourable the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council, appointed to take into consideration the state of coins and the status of the mint in England at the time. This is a fairly long report, containing pages 43-194 plus a folding plate showing the appratus used in alloy experiments. Nice, clean copy free from any chips or tears other than some minor wear to the outer edges, plate clean and well engraved. First Edition. Disbound. Very Good. 4to (28 cm x 23 cm).
