Die Spannung, so viel mehr vom Leben, oder gar den letztendlichen Sinn zu erfahren, bleibt garantiert. Dabei wird diese Spannung nicht durch "technische" oder psychologische Tricks erzeugt, sondern ganz einfach nur durch das Nennen der Wahrheit von ALLEM-WAS-IST! Dieses Buch hat Tiefgang, es spricht Verstand, Herz und Intuition an, und es hilft, sich in einer scheinbar von Schuld, Leid und Mangel beherrschten Welt wieder an die Freiheit des Geistes zu erinnern und sich für die Führung durch unser höheres göttliches Selbst zu öffnen. Es ist ein "gechannelter" Text (leider ist dieses Wort durch seichte Esoterikliteratur so in Misskredit geraten, dass es mir fast peinlich ist, das zu schreiben, aber es ist nun mal so). Inhaltlich deckt es sich mit der Lehre von Ein Kurs in Wundern , was im Text auch ausdrücklich gesagt wird. Im Untertitel wird das Buch als ein Begleitbuch zum Kurs bezeichnet, es ist aber auch als eigenständiger Text lesbar. Für Kursschüler ist es hilfreich, weil die Sprache klarer, einfacher und leichter verständlich ist als die des Kurses. Aber auch Lesern, die mit "Ein Kurs in Wundern" nicht vertraut sind, kann ich die Lektüre nur wärmstens empfehlen, Haskells Buch setzt keinerlei Kurskenntnisse voraus. Alles, was man zum Verständnis des Textes braucht, wird im Text selbst ausführlich erklärt. "Ein Kurs in Wundern" ist eine Mehtode zur geistigen Selbstheilung und Selbstbefreiung. Er bedient sich der christlichen Symbolsprache und knüpft an die Bibel an, und er verbindet dies auch mit Grundkonzepten der Psychoanalyse. Seine Theorie unterscheidet sich wesentlich von der christlichen Theologie, seine Praxis zeigt aber Ähnlichkeiten sowohl mit der christlichen Kontemplation als auch mit hinduistischen und buddhistischen Wegen der Geistesschulung.
