Scarce first edition copy of this volume (which new seems to retail over $100) made even more interesting in being signed by Harvey Mindness. Inscribed by the author to another author, a well known professor in the field of Marxist philosophy. No other marks to the interior besides the pen signature and inscription on the front free endpaper. Pages are clean, though lightly age toned. Binding is solid, sturdy square. Dustjacket is clean and intact, with a 1.5" closed tear at the bottom middle of the front panel and a couple of teeny little scuffs, but now preserved in brand new brodart. Boards clean and firm, no wear except the very tips of the top two corners slightly pushed, not very noticeable. An excellent copy of this uncommon first edition (stated 2nd printing) from 1971, with authors warm inscription.
