First edition of this rare baseball work. One of 500 numbered examples, this copy is 309. Octavo, original cloth. Rubbing to the cloth extremities, one page has an old tape repair, in very good condition. Harry Ellard was a Cincinnati journalist. He knew of and consulted the best photographs and documents relating to the Cincinnati Club, and had the cooperation of several Red Stockings players.
