Ms Barnulf is perhaps the same individual who was a 2022 Georgetown Unive…rsity Human Resources Service honoree (20 years). The author was a successful computer professional with a passion for writing novels. He was born in the Middle East and immigrated to the United States at a young age, graduated from college, and launched his career. In 1918, a caravan of seventy-five thousand helpless women, innocent children, and newborn babies were burned alive in the Syrian Desert. Only a few survived. One survivor dared to tell what really happened. This is his eyewitness account. The fast-paced story begins at the brink of World War I in the Turkish Ottoman Empire, where three childhood friends spend their days playing together and getting into mischief, unaware of the danger brewing in the world around them. When the war spreads like wildfire, fate throws them on a journey full of trials and tribulations beyond imagination.
