Here is another book to add to the growing catalog of the books of the Derrydale Press which I have been listing of late. This one is much like some of my recent listings about hunting birds with a shotgun; the book is titled: Tranquility Tales of Sport with the Gun, by Col. Harold P. Sheldon. There is an Introduction by Nash Buckingham and the book was illustrated by Ralph L. Boyer. This small leather-bound hard cover book (6 ¼ x 9 ½ inches, 216 pages) was published by the Derrydale Press, dated 1991 and is one of a limited edition of 2500. The book is bound in maroon leather with gilt framing and decorations on the cover and gilt titles on the spineThe endpapers are decorated with a purple marble pattern and the pages edges are full gilt. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The leather covers are pristine, clean and unblemished. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
