No Binding. Zustand: Fine. This is a remarkable, multi-signed piece of Barbizon Plaza Hotel stationery from the 1961 Conference on High Energy Accelerators in New York. The document contains the authentic signatures of six prominent figures in modern physics and chemistry, including four Nobel Prize laureates and key contributors to the Manhattan Project. This item represents a rare convergence of the scientific minds that shaped 20th-century nuclear physics. There are no postmarks on this item as it is unmailed hotel stationery. Autograph Verification and Biographies: Please note the final signature is Harold C. Urey, not Harold C. Ulrey. The signatures present have been verified as follows: Dr. Maurice Goldhaber: Renowned physicist and former director of Brookhaven National Laboratory, famous for his work on nuclear isomers and measuring the helicity of the neutrino. Dr. Emilio Segrè: 1959 Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics. He discovered the elements technetium and astatine, and co-discovered the antiproton. Dr. Isidor I. Rabi: 1944 Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics. He was awarded the prize for his discovery of nuclear magnetic resonance, which is used in MRI today. Bernard Waldman: Prominent American physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project and flew as an observer on the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Dr. James Chadwick: 1935 Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics. He fundamentally changed the understanding of the atom by discovering the neutron in 1932. Dr. Harold C. Urey: 1934 Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry. He discovered deuterium (heavy hydrogen) and played a significant role in the development of the atomic bomb. Signed by Author(s).…

Seine Erkenntnisse dazu fasste er in dem 1952 erschienenen Buch The Planets: Their Origin and Development zusammen. /// Standort Wimregal Ill-Umschl2024-188 WITHIN THE EU: shipping only to GERMANY and AUSTRIA due to the new EPR regulations.
