Contents: 65 chapters; numerous b/w and color illustrations; a fold-out chart for the chapter, titled,The Earliest Nations of Historical Time, in the Mediterranean, and the First Global War; Index. About a third of the front board is mottled with faded spots; the back board is a little thus along the front edge. Text block: the top end has six, small, light stains; the foredge has two, tiny scrapes. The top corners of the front endpaper have uneven edges, probably caused by an insect. The top corners of the last four pages each have a faint stain. The page have a light, musty odor. DJ: The spine and half of the back panel are tanned and have a few stains. Most of the DJ is rebacked to reattach the flaps and fill in large chips on the top end and on the flaps folds. The ragged edges of the chips remain. Scans e-mailed upon request. Hansen had a regular column of non-fiction articles in *Amazing* magazine titled "Scientific Mysteries," and was one of the first women to be published in science fiction pulp magazines with her story "What the Sodium Lines Revealed" appearing in the Winter 1929 issue of *Amazing Stories Quarterly.".
