After a train accident destroys his hands, a pianist seeks the help of bizarre Doctor Gogol, who is secretly obsessed with the pianist's beautiful wife. Vintage studio still photograph from the US release of the 1961 British film, showing Oliver Reed in costume as Leon Corledo the werewolf. Based on Guy Endore's 1933 novel "The Werewolf Of Paris." Reed's first starring role in a feature film, and the first werewolf film to be shot in color. Released as a double feature with another Hammer film, "Shadow of the Cat" (1961). Set in Spain, and shot on location in Buckinghamshire and Surrey, England. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes at the margins. Johnson and Del Vecchio.
