Published in 1930 by Luzac & Co. in London, this text represents the first major, comprehensive attempt to translate a substantial portion of Avicenna's 11th-century masterpiece (Al-Qanun fi al-Tibb) directly into English with modern analytical commentary. A very scarce edition in commerce, with Rare Book Hub recording just four copies, two of which date from before 1960 (with Maggs and Sothebys).
