The ICA Bulletins from 1965-1968 are an essential reference documentation of Avant Garde artists in London in arguably its most exciting period. Condition: There is ownership signature of the artist Geoffrey Beaghan in red ink on the front cover, minor dirt marks to back cover, minor rusting to lower staple. Otherwise Near Fine.

This collection includes four works by American novelist and essayist William Styron (1925-2006), including his acclaimed but controversial account of Nat Turner's rebellion--for which he won the Pulitzer Prize--and the ground-breaking "Darkness Visible," an account of Styron's struggle with depression. In the words of ANB, Styron's "empathetic portrayals of human suffering and moral transgression, skillfully told from multiple points of view, explored universal themes, transcending even national boundaries, and established him as a major writer of the postwar era."
