Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good+. 1st ; 1st Printing. Something has been detacted on the title page with black marker - library stamp? ; We assume this was a paperback copy that was rebound by a library, retaining the original cover resulting in an attractive and sound book. There are no marks or writing and the binding being new is tight. The only sign of it being an ex-library copy is a light, faint stamp to top edge of the text block. ; Ex-Library; Illustrations; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 260 pages.

Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. Spiral-bound yellow printed wrappers. Oblong folio. 11 by 17 inches. 12 pages. Copy #12 of 12 printed. Inscribed by the artist on the inside cover in September of 1995. A collection of 12 full-page color reproductions of mostly female nudes on the beach. John Grillo (1917-2014) was an American abstract expressionist painter who was born in Lawrence, Mass. After attending the Hartford School of Fine Arts he studied in San Francisco under Richard Diebenkorn before moving to New York and taking classes with Hans Hofmann who became an important influence and supporter. A scarce book which we can find no record of anywhere. It appears to have been created by the artist himself for private distribution. A very good copy which has some curling at the right side. The rear cover is lightly soiled. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).
