Brown boards with black titles, a few marks and minor handling wear including an inch and a half split at the top of the back hinge. Firmly bound with some foxing mostly on the closed page edges and first and last few pages, small inscription and a few small ink stamps inside. The half title page is loose with some edge wear, also one of the colour plates is loose, however all plates have been collated with the contents list and all are present.

1st edition, Autographed by the author, July 1938. VG, original blue cloth covers with black lettering. No dj. Cover slightly marked, but internally VG copy. Well illustrated with b&w photographs, and frontispiece in colour from a painting by Dickson Gregory. The "Edina" was built on the Clyde, but emigrated to Geelong.
