Therefore, the book is written in the form of a review with a still reasonable length, taking into account the complexity of the arguments discussed. We do not claim to present a complete picture of the physics governing the Universe, but have rather selected particular topics for a more thorough discussion. A cross section of essays on historical, modern, and philosophical topics is offered and combined with personal views into tricks of the space astrophysics trade.

Bella fotografia originale in bianco/nero, cm 18 x 24, con ritratto dell'attore francese Jean Marais, con sua dedica autografa manoscritta a penna nella parte inferiore. L'attore e' ritratto sorridente, di profilo, accanto ad un grande cane. All'angolo inferiore interno e' presente ilÂriferimento dello studio fotografico: Harcourt, Paris. G.R. Aldo. Lo scatto e' di Aldo Rossano Graziati (noto anche con il solo nome Aldo', alla francese, o G. R. Aldo come indicato su questa fotografia) nato a Scorze' nel 1905 e morto ad Albara nel 1953, uno dei grandi fotografi del cinema italiano. Graziati si trasferisce in Francia nel 1923, dove lavora per molti anni come coreografo, fotografo di scena e operatore. Durante l'occupazione tedesca si trasferisce a Nizza, dove conosce Michelangelo Antonioni che lo invita a tornare in Italia. Nel 1946 si presenta per un provino a Luchino Visconti, che due anni dopo gli affida la direzione della fotografia di "La terra trema". E' stato direttore della fotografia di altri importanti opere del neorealismo italiano: "Miracolo a Milano" e "Umberto D." di De Sica, "Senso" sempre di Visconti. Prima di rientrare in Italia per lavorare come fotografo di scena nel cinema, Graziati lavoro' appunto a ParigiÂcome fotografo ritrattista negli studi Dax eÂHarcourtÂed e' a quest'epoca che risale questa fotografia dell'attoreÂJean Marais non datata, ma ascrivibile agli anni Trenta. Hean Marais, attore francese, nacque nel 1913. Al 1937 risale l'incontro determinante per la sua carriera e la sua vita con il poeta e drammaturgo Jean Cocteau che lo volle a teatro in molti suoi drammi. Marais divenne poi protagonista del cinema francese tra gli anni Quaranta e gli anni Sessanta. ITA.
