From these note he published "Birds of the Atlanta, Georgia, Area", one of the first annotated bird checklists for the state, and was co-author of the first formal checklist for Georgia birds, published in 1945. Unpaginated, with then-modern, newly patented red plastic comb-binding. Condition: crack to plastic comb does not affect structure of binding. Moderate finger smudges to covers, crease to corner of back cover. short 1/2" tear to one page, with no loss of material.
