A ms. note on the following blank indicates the last page has been 'stolen'; a later note declares it, nevertheless, an 'interesting read'. Comparison with another copy suggests the work is in fact complete.

Hard back binding in publisher's original menthol green cloth covers, gilt lettering to the spine and the upper panel, blue Gentian flower and mountain scene to the front cover, camel paper end papers. 8vo 9½'' x 7'' 292 pp. 54 tipped-in paper guarded colour plates mounted on to thick brown card stock, there are in addition 15 monochrome illustrations throughout. The odd little fox splash here and there, but nothing to offensive, the corners are sharp and pointed and the covers are without any marks or rubbing to the cloth, super condition copy.
