The main topic of the congress will be based on the theme "To Preserve and to Change in a Network of Recent Developments". The subjects to be particularly explored will be "The Concept of the Unconscious", "Social Interest and Community Feeling" and "Dynamics of Aggression". These topics are a clear invitation for further research for advancement in the fields of education, psychology, sociology and the organization of work. The challenge that I. P. must take up regards therefore, a world that is changing with reference to neuroscience, the technology of information and transcultural problems, even at an ecosystem level. In 1933, Alfred Adler wrote a brief paper entitled "Individual Psychology and Experimental Psychology", as if foretelling the future and as if he had already had to face the actual problems of epistemology and scientific methodology. As a consequence, the basic themes proposed by the Congress underline the need for research on experimental models, on the elaboration of statistical methods in relation to the conditions of intervention, on the evaluation of the aquired results, on the comparison between different methodologies, and the documentation of the costbenefit relations, prevention programmes, etc. All that must render both the rigour of the research and traditional criteria of I. P. compatible; and that both refer to the sense of human life in relation to cooperation among individuals. (G. G. Rovera) Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 550.
