Boards worn all over, heavily rubbed, chipped and scuffed on edges with some paper loss, rounded on corners, spine faded, rear board toned. Front hinge cracked almost along the complete length, with webbing visible, resulting the volume being significantly loose. Prize presentation label on front paste down, indicating the volume was presented to Edna Davis in January 1911 by the Christchurch Baptist Sunday School. Text block edges toned and rubbed. Tissue guard toned and spotted. Some spotting, toning and signs of fingering throughout volume, with a couple of short, closed tears at page edges in places.
