Begleitbrief zur Übersendung seines Volksstückes "Am Rande des Abgrunds" an einen namentlich nicht genannten Adressaten: "Bitte, widmen Sie demselben einige Aufmerksamkeit [.]". - Goldhann, Sohn einer wohlhabenden Bürgerfamilie, studierte Rechtswissenschaften in Wien, trat 1848 in die Akademische Legion und den Studentenausschuß ein und nahm an den Barrikadenkämpfen teil. Ende 1848 wurde er Beamter in der Finanzprokuratur in Brünn, wo er bis zu seiner Pensionierung tätig war. Im Zuge zahlreicher Reisen durch Europa verkehrte er u. a. mit Franz Grillparzer, Friedrich Hebbel und Heinrich Laube und war seit 1892 Präsident des Deutschen Journalisten- und Schriftstellervereins für Mähren und Schlesien. - Ohne das erwähnte Werk.
