Part one, consisting of 'The Sad Story of a Rolling Stone', 'Adventures of a Blockhead', 'The Weather Post', and more were written by Sir Gervas Powell Glyn. Part two, consisting of 'To Brussels - New Style', 'To Broadcast', 'The Eagle', and more, were written by his sister, Margaret H. Glyn. Sir Gervas Powell Glyn, the 6th Baronet of Ewell, died in 1921, three years before this book was published. His sister, Margaret, dedicated this book to him. Sir Gervas Powell Glyn was also the author of 'About Elizabethan Virginal Music' and 'The Rhythmic Conception of Music'. In the publisher's original quarter vellum binding with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with some shelf wear only, especially to the corners. A few marks to the vellum spine as is common with this type of binding. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
