L'édition fut rééditée en 1731 puis en 1745. Après la mort du Régent en 1723, Coypel, détenteur des cuivres, mit en vente des suites d'estampes de Daphnis et Chloé. Deux figures qui ont trait à l'éducation amoureuse de Daphnis par Licoemion furent détruites, ce qui explique pourquoi en 1731 ces suites ne comprenaient plus que 26 estampes au lieu de 28.
