The cloth is faded in an uneven manner along 7 1/2 in. of the top edge of the cover. It may have been caused by dampness or an insect. Half of the T is missing in "The" on the spine strip. DJ: Price clipped. Most of the damage is on half of the spine panel, which has chips, closed tears, crease lines, and rubbed spots. The front panel has three close tears, up to 3/4 in., and has a crease line along most of the top edge. The back panel has light, shelf wear soiling, two linear 3/8 in. chips, and a 4 in. closed tear. The tears are rejoined with tape on the reverse side. Scans e-mailed upon request.
