In a calf binding with armorial gilt to the boards, rebacked with the original boards restored, and a new spine. Externally, boards are worn with loss and discolouration to the original boards. Minor bumping to the extremities. Prior owner's pencil mark to the paste downs, with a small amount of wear to the paste downs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spotting. Tide mark from the title page to page 43, reappearing a little fainter throughout the text. Good. book.
