The front cover states that this song was "Introduced by Bert Williams in Ziegfeld Midnight Frolic." Also printed on the front cover is an explanation for this piece's peculiar size, "To Co-operate with the Government and to conserve paper during the War, this song is issued in a smaller size than usual." The song itself is centered around the war, "Instead of pickin' melons off the vine, they're pickin' Germans off the Rhine.".
