The legendary 1959 jazz documentary, set at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island, shot in high style by commercial and fashion photographer Stern, and featuring performances by Louis Armstrong, Thelonious Monk, Dinah Washington,and Eric Dolphy, among others.
