Vintage studio still photograph from the 1949 film, seen here under the alternate title "I Married a Communist." One of the most arresting noirs of the late 1940s, predicting Samuel Fuller's "Pickup on South Street" (1953), in which communist intrigue and noir non-ethics are woven together to achieve maximum paranoia. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, lightly toned at the edges. Grant US. Selby Canon. Silver Classic Noir. Spicer US.

Vintage publicity photograph from the 1950 film, showing actors Charles Drake, Diana Lynn, and Rock Hudson. Two high school sisters enter the Rose Parade after moving to Pasadena with their father, and enjoy teenage romances. An early screen appearance by Hudson, who signed with Universal the year prior. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.
