Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Your e-bike battery is too valuable to lose useful life because of charging myths, poor storage, avoidable heat, or habits you did not know were causing unnecessary stress. If you own an e-bike but still find yourself wondering when to charge, whether 100% is harmful, how to store the battery through winter, why your range suddenly dropped, or when a battery problem is serious enough to stop riding, E-Bike Battery Care and Maintenance was written for you.Designed for everyday riders rather than battery technicians, this practical guide turns confusing battery advice into clear, repeatable habits you can actually use.Whether you commute every day, ride on weekends, store your bike seasonally, or have just purchased your first e-bike, you will learn how to care for one of the most expensive and important components on your bicycle with greater confidence.Inside, you will learn how to: - Charge your e-bike battery safely without relying on outdated charging myths- Decide when partial charging or a full charge makes practical sense- Reduce unnecessary battery stress caused by heat, cold, deep discharge, and poor storage- Prepare your battery correctly for winter and long periods of non-use- Understand why real-world range changes and recognize when reduced range may indicate a problem- Care for chargers, connectors, battery mounts, and electrical contacts safely- Recognize swelling, unusual heat, odor, physical damage, error codes, and other warning signs- Troubleshoot common charging and performance problems without crossing into dangerous battery repair- Handle batteries more safely during car transport, travel, and off-bike storage- Make better decisions about replacement batteries, rebuilt packs, compatibility, recycling, and end-of-life careWhat makes this guide different is its focus on practical ownership rather than risky DIY battery repair. You will not be encouraged to open lithium-ion packs, bypass battery-management systems, replace internal cells, or experiment with incompatible chargers. Instead, the book helps you understand what you can safely check yourself, when manufacturer instructions should take priority, and when professional service is the smarter choice. You will also find battery-care checklists, a seasonal storage checklist, range and charging logs, a battery information and service record, and a warning-sign guide that turn what you learn into an easy routine you can continue using long after you finish reading.Battery care does not need to become another technical hobby. With the right habits, you can spend less time worrying about percentages and conflicting online advice and more time knowing your battery is being charged, stored, handled, and monitored responsibly. If you want a clearer, safer, and more practical way to protect your e-bike battery, understand its changing range, and get dependable service from it for as long as reasonably possible, this guide gives you the system to do it.…
