The history and traditions of the Britisah Army have to a great extent been built up from many incidents in what the author describes as "Forgotten Army Sagas." Brilliant and daring actions on many a fasr-flunf battlkefield have lost their place in history because they were overshadowed by the major military events of the times. In this book the author has gleaned from the proud records of our army some of these almost-forgotten episodes. Some of the articles in this volume had previously appeared in various periodicals. The book is in very good condition with with light bumping to the spine ends. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper has shelf wear with some soiling and the edges are rubbed, The corners are bumped and nicked and there are small pieces missing from the spine ends. The edges have several tears of up to about 1/2" and the larger of these have been repaired on the reverse with tape.
