Guide for German immigrant farmers who settled in the United States in the late 19th century. Green cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and in blind, marbled edges, 335 pages plus part of a publisher's ad tipped on the rear free endpaper. NOTE: Musty odor, came from a German farm family and was stored in the basement. Otherwise good condition with light shelf rubbing, good hinges, (minor internal surface crack to top of front hinge, structurally sound), binding sound, pages age-browned but clean and legible, endpapers foxed, closed tear to one page without loss of text, ad for stump puller mounted on rear pastedown, no names or other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.…
