Continuity and Dialogue script for the 1931 pre-code film. A man gets promoted from the printing room to working with the society editor at a newspaper. When he begins to develop feelings for the woman writing the society section, he brawls with her lover who is also their boss. White titled self-wrappers, noted as Continuity and Dialogue on the front wrapper, production No. 117-1. 85 leaves, with last page of text numbered 12. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good with a long tear to the front self-wrapper, bound with two gold brads along the top edge.

Vintage reference photograph from the 1938 film. With mimeo snipe on the verso. A young woman attending the Paris School of Drama is often late to class because she also has to work a factory job to support herself. She lies to her classmates about her life and that she has a a wonderful, famous boyfriend. Set in Paris. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with a crease at the bottom left of the photograph.

Two vintage double-weight publicity photographs of Genevieve Tobin by photographer Ray Jones, circa 1930. Both of the photographs with Jones' photographer's stamp on the verso, one also with a studio stamp for Tobin as a "Universal Player" on the verso. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. Stage and screen actress Genevieve Tobin began her screen career at the age of eleven in the 1910 silent short "Uncle Tom's Cabin." From 1910 to 1940 Tobin appeared in over fourty films, before retiring from acting in 1940 at the age of 41. Among her best remembered films include, "King Lear" (1923), "Polly Preferred" (1923), "A Lady Surrenders" (1930), "Free Love" (1930), "One Hour with You" (1932), "Kiss and Make Up" (1934), and her final film, "No Time for Comedy" (1940). Tobin is also of note for her popular performance of the Cole Porter song "You Do Something to Me," which she performed in the 1929 Broadway play "Fifty Million Frenchmen." 8 x 10 inches. Both with even toning, else Near Fine.

Signed oversize vintage sepia tone matte-finish photograph, shows Genevieve Tobin in a 2/3 length portrait, 10,5 x 13,5 inch, signed and inscribed in dark ink "To Benedict Jr. - Yours Sincerely - Genevieve Tobin", with two tears to the left edge (signature unaffected) and slightly trimmed edges - in nearly fine condition.
