Published two years after Pearl Harbor, this publication describes the need of rubber for the war effort and creating a rubber substitute. Contains information on the process used to create synthetic rubber, the type of synthetic… known as Government Rubber-Type S, etc. Contains black & white photographs of the office and factories, tires produced for the military, face masks, etc. Wrappers printed in red and blue, in good condition. 16 pages, measuring 6 x 9 inches in size. There is a large mark in pencil on the cover underneath "rubber" and a stamp on the inside cover. Binding is strong, with no loose or missing pages. All pages are bright and unmarked with clear photographs. This is an ex-library copy, with stamps along the top edge of the front wrapper. This catalog comes from a collection of several thousand trade manuals.
