The caption on the rear cover reads thus: "The illustrations in this book are from drawing made directly onto lithographic aluminium plates. They are therefore originals and not reproductions of drawings made on paper." The Tarrant is one of the many streams of the Dorset chalklands. This book follows the course of the Tarrant down its valley, but diversions have been made to take in outlying villages. The last part continues along the river Stour back to Blandford.…
