Soft cover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. Rare. Small staple-bound booklet. Part of the Reynolds & Co.'s Recitation Series. Undated, but priced at 1/3 nett and others in series are dated in the 1920s. The book has tanned with age and there is some rust where staples are, although all pages remain present and not loose. Corners slightly dog-eared and few specs of dirt on covers, but overall in good to fair condition.

Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. Dedication to front, dated 1904. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate sunning and tanning, particularly to spine. Gilt lettering remains bright and clear.

Includes chapters on Bunkums; Travesties and Oddities; and Drawing-Room Comediettas. In a green cloth binding with gilt title detailing to the front board and spine. Externally, generally smart with some shelfwear; with bumping to the extremities, and some marks to boards. The front hinge is tender, rear hinge is strained. Internally, the binding is slightly strained, and tender in places; the pages are generally bright and clean with only scattered spotting, and some handling marks to the endpapers. There is a small paper label of Foyles, Charing Cross Rd, adhered to the front pastedown. Good. book.
