Marbled paste-downs, all edges sprinkled in light red and brown. Handsome copy in fine condition, beautifully well preserved. ~ FIRST EDITION. Very early work on money lending and Usury Laws (Canon Laws). Published anonymously. Attributed to Jacques Gaitte (Cf. Barbier, V. 4, col. 1238). Very rare.
