Wonderful sad story about naughty pretty tomboy Anne and her plain, too good to be true cousin Jane who eventually succumbs to childish temptations, disobeys her mother and is stolen by the gypsies to be an exhibit at the fair. A few very minor marks to cloth, spine browned, a touch of wear to head and tail of spine, neat inscription dated 1903 on half-title, a few inner joints neatly glued, light crease to 1 lower corner.
